FAA Commercial Drone Certification

By taking part in this course, youth will learn the FAA rules, weather, airspace, weight/balance, aeronautical factors along with software and hardware that is used in drones. This course is designed to prepare students 16 year of age and older for the FAA Commercial Drone Certification Test.

We provide all the material, quizzes, videos and sample tests to help get you prepare to enter the commercial drone market.

Once you access our course you will be able to study the material and watch videos that explain the concepts covered in the text. We also offer remote learning opportunities that provide youth with LIVE learning sessions with a FAA Certified Commercial Drone Pilot.

Course Instructor


As part of a partnership with Pittsburgh Drone Services, Dr. Lori Paluti will be the instructor for this course. Dr. Paluti is an FAA Certified Commercial Drone Pilot and has over 27 years experience in Education. She is the founder and CEO of Pittsburgh Drone Services, a company dedicated to helping minority and disadvantaged communities acquire the skills necessary to enter the commercial drone industry.
